On the cognitio recorder select the camera and right click and select PTZ, when the PTZ control box appears left click the IRIS + button this will bring up the camera OSD menu, move through the menu to Advanced and select IRIS +, then down to video format you are then able to go through the video formats. once you have selected the format go back to return and down to exit the IRIS+ twice to exit, this is now setup with the new video format (default video format is CVI)
